Managing Director
Kate joined Bioscientifica in 2006 as an Events Manager, working across multiple Society partners, developing expertise in financial planning, crisis communications and strategic development of events. Kate has led many major projects, including the centralisation of the professional congress organisation (PCO) for two large European societies.
For a number of years Kate worked as the Head of Events to develop Society partnerships and manage Bioscientifica’s events team, before being appointed Deputy Managing Director with responsibility for delivering the Bioscientifica Business Plan across the Publishing, Association Management and Events divisions. In 2022 Kate assumed responsibility for the business systems across the Society for Endocrinology Group at an executive level. In 2025 Kate became Managing Director for Bioscientifica and Chief Operating Officer for the Society for Endocrinology.
Before joining Bioscientifica, Kate managed events across the learned society, membership association, charity, entertainment and healthcare sectors.
