What is peer review?

Peer review evaluates articles for validity, quality, and originality. It allows journals to maintain the quality and integrity of the content published. This enhances the value of published articles. Our robust peer-review system is something Bioscientifica takes pride in and we are incredibly thankful for for our reviewers who make this possible.

By publishing, reading and reviewing articles in our journals, you are directly supporting the biomedical community and funding progression in science. We redistribute monies made from publishing back to the Society for Endocrinology, our parent charity, as well as our partner societies, to advance biomedical research and practice.
