What we do

Bioscientifica exists to support biomedicine. We provide expert publishing, events and association management services to advance biomedical science, and improve patient care. We are owned by the Society for Endocrinology, and all our profits support the Society’s charitable work. Together, Bioscientifica and the Society are known as the SfE Group.

By working with us, you’ll help the Society’s members to accelerate research into many rare diseases, as well as the most common hormone-related conditions affecting people today, including diabetes, obesity, endocrine cancers and infertility. Whatever your role at the SfE Group you’ll play a crucial part in helping patients to receive better care and live healthier lives.

Work-life balance
  • Hybrid working – to harness collaboration across the organisation, our staff come into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The rest of your week, you can work wherever you’re most productive.
  • Flexitime – not every role here is 9–5. Where possible, we provide our staff the freedom to work their contracted hours in the way that best suits them and the responsibilities of their role. You can also accrue extra hours, and reclaim up to 20% of your weekly contracted hours back each month as flexi leave.
  • Generous holidays – 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
