Bioscientifica events team wins silver award for conference development

Nov 2020

We are thrilled to announce that the Bioscientifica has won a silver award for the development of the Society for Endocrinology's annual BES conference in 2019.

The award was in the Best Development of an Existing Conference - over 1,000 attendees category at the Conference Awards 2020.

The SfE BES 2019 conference was a huge success, with increased attendance and an improved, more streamlined scientific programme.

Bioscientifica is owned by the Society for Endocrinology, and all our profits are redistributed back to support the development of biomedical research, staff training and grants across Europe and the world.

Here are some of the judges' comments:

"Good results, demonstrated well by how they undertook new initiatives with delegates and sponsors."

"The multi-channel research campaign resulted in a much more comprehensive, audience-requirements focused agenda. Overall the entry demonstrates significant improvements across multiple core metrics and most impressively a 75% uptake of the event app - no mean feat!"

Bioscientifica exists to support biomedicine. Through our expertise in publishing, events and association management, we strengthen biomedical communities to advance science and health.
