We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Executive to play an integral part in the day-to-day co-ordination of high-profile events and on the day event management.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Executive to play an integral part in the day-to-day co-ordination of high-profile events and on the day event management at an organisation that is both an in-house organiser for the Society for Endocrinology and a PCO agency Bioscientifica. Hitting the ground running, you will join a busy team who organise association events and conferences from the initial contract to onsite delivery and post event reconciliation and evaluation. As a competent communicator, you will arrange meeting spaces, working to the event brief and budget and coordinating across our internal departments to maximise the success of all event key performance indicators.  This specific role will also be responsible for setting up, maintaining and managing the Sponsorship and Exhibition system to ensure a smooth and efficient process for the sponsors and events team. As an ambassador for the Society for Endocrinology and Bioscientifica, you will be the main point of contact for event queries both during the pre-event planning and on the day, ensuring that all sponsors and contractors are kept up to date and receive fantastic customer service.

With experience, and/or proven know-how of organising events, you will be familiar with working with event budgets and external stakeholders. You’ll be self-motivated and will be able to manage several projects simultaneously, adapting to any sudden changes in the priorities and will demonstrate a flexible approach to work. Due to the nature of the role, you will be willing to travel to different UK locations and overseas when required.

Bioscientifica and the Society for Endocrinology Group are committed to providing career development opportunities and an excellent benefits package to all employees.

Benefits include:

  • Flexitime
  • 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Health and wellbeing plan – cash back for dentist, opticians, physio and more.
  • Corporate perks programme.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Employee volunteering opportunities – to contribute to a charitable cause locally for one day each year.

The Society for Endocrinology is a UK based membership organisation representing a global community of scientists, clinicians and nurses who work with hormones. Bioscientifica is owned by the Society for Endocrinology, and our profits are redistributed to support biomedical research and practice. Bioscientifica exists to support biomedicine. Through our expertise in publishing, events and association management we strengthen biomedical communities to advance science and health. Society for Endocrinology and Bioscientifica are committed to providing career development opportunities and an excellent benefits package to all employees.

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all team members feel valued, respected and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
