Publishing Assistant

The new Bioscientifica Publishing Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for the publishing team and the editorial boards on a specified portfolio of journals both owned and client managed.

Bioscientifica is looking for a new Publishing Assistant to join our friendly publishing department and to help provide administrative support for the wider team and Editorial Boards on a specified selection of journals in the Bioscientifica Publishing Portfolio.

Join our friendly and supportive Publishing Team as Publishing Assistant. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our small publishing team, and support our extensive international community of Editors and Authors.

You will provide administrative support for the publishing team and the editorial boards on a specified product portfolio.

We’re looking for someone with a strong customer focus and helpful/can do attitude. You’ll have good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with people of different backgrounds and languages/cultures. You’ll be highly organised with good time management.

 

  • You will ensure the editorial boards have the support, tools and information they need to be effective in their role
  • You will ensure external peer review staff have the support and information they need to meet agreed targets, ensuring author satisfaction
  • You will ensure the publishing team have the administrative support they need to manage their portfolios efficiently
