BioScientifica's External
Relations Department manage media, patient and commercial
relations for learned societies. Many Societies lack the
specialist knowledge and infrastructure to deal with urgent
enquiries from outside sources, such as press or patient
enquiries. We work closely with academics to develop strategies
for handling these calls, and to ensure that these enquiries
are dealt with in the most efficient way. Where appropriate,
we also work proactively with the media to promote research
opinions and concerns to the general public.
The External Relations Department is also experienced in developing
and maintaining structures to establish good relations with
corporate sponsors at a national and international level.
