Helen graduated from Reading University in 1991. Following graduation she travelled extensively through Asia and Australia, before settling back in the UK. From 1995 to 1998 she worked in the healthcare division of a major London-based PR company, running national and international press conferences for pharmaceutical companies. She then moved to Bristol and joined the Society for Endocrinology and Bioscientifica as Event Manager in 1999, successfully managing all elements of conferences and other events for 150 to over 1000 delegates. In 2002 she also took on the overall management responsibility for secretariats as well as events and progressed in 2010 to company-wide responsibility as Operations Director. In December 2012, she was promoted to Client Services Director, responsible for client satisfaction across the Bioscientifica client portfolio.
